Traveler by Heart...

मेरा फलसफा कंधे पे मेरा बस्ता... चला मैं चला ले चला  रास्ता....
So according to some close friends these magical words from the song Ilaahi describe me in a perfect manner.. and now I agree.

December 2013,  when I left my job just to travel, I realized how far I've come in past 2yrs from what I was. Back than I was connected to my dreams, the world which I always wanted to create around me, the world that involved lot of things which are not around now.

Last week I spoke to a friend after 2 long years, he is one of those who knows me in an out and he asked me one simple question, what happened to that old Rish I knew? where is she? Is she alive? and I had no answer to this question. Another friend when chatting with me raised the same point but in a polite manner saying I miss Rishika Singh. Now when people call me, their first question is "Kaunse shehar mei hai?" and that makes me think have I changed a lot that people need to ask this question.

Four months I was traveling in search of something, I covered various places of the country, but all questions are still unanswered. There is something I'm looking for and I cant find it. I was looking for myself. I guess traveling changed the philosophy of my life and it made me realized that you cant really plan your life. So here is what it taught me and how it should be, after all change is good.:)

Traveling is like meditation, it changes you from inside, you look at the world from a different perspective. For me traveling is not about going to one particular place its about being somewhere
and doing something which is not a part of your routine, because I'm not a 9 to 5 kinda person.

You meet new people, you become more social, you learn to interact with strangers, you make new friends which is not easy. You improve from every direction. After traveling you feel lot more confident than what you were earlier.

Another important thing it teaches you is that you learn to go with the flow. You stop expecting things, yo stop assuming things and you learn to survive in every situation.

Traveling teaches you to observe things, people around you and that helps a lot in understanding your surrounding, you learn about body language by looking at people, their actions the way they speak will teach u a lot about them.

And the most important thing it teaches you is that you cant work and travel at the same time.

There is another set of people who are close to me and my family have a different opinion altogether, some they are jealous of me because I travel so much and some say how can I travel so much? Well, high time I should start taking all their views with a pinch of salt and learn to live with it and try my best to be in touch with people. :)
After traveling for months I know I have changed and I've changed for good now I dont wait for people, I can let go anything and anyone,  I live life queen size without the King. :)
